Accounting & finance
Accounting that is not a separate exercise
Stock movements, job costs, payroll and project spend post to the ledger as they happen. Month end becomes a review rather than a reconstruction.
The core
What the ledger holds
Chart of accounts
With nature and Schedule III grouping, and ledger-level TDS applicability.
Journals and vouchers
Party subledger, approval routing, receipt, payment, contra and bank transfer.
Post-dated cheques
From receipt through to realisation or return, with position visibility.
Bank reconciliation
Statement import, matching and controlled re-import.
Cost centres
Departmental and project-wise capture, feeding profitability.
Budgets
Entry and variance against actuals, by centre and period.
Accounting periods
Lock and controlled reopen, with reason recorded.
Multi-company
Multi-branch throughout, with isolation where the structure requires it.
Integration
What it actually changes
Three things stop being manual.
Stock valuation reaches the ledger without a journal being written, because the movement posted it. A job or project shows committed cost the moment a purchase order is approved, not when the invoice arrives. Payroll posts to departmental cost centres from the run itself, so labour cost lands where it was incurred.
None of this is remarkable in an integrated system. It is only remarkable if you have spent years bridging an accounting package to everything else.
Working capital
Where the money actually is
Receivables
Ageing that is current rather than assembled. Outstanding by party, branch and salesperson. Credit limits enforced at order entry with authorised override.
Payables
Vendor ageing, allocation against specific invoices, and netting where a party is both customer and vendor.
Reporting
Trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet, each drilling to the voucher — plus a report builder for the report management actually wants.
Bring your trial balance.
We will show you the same position in Tech Integra ERP, and where each figure comes from.
